Little Red Worms

Hey, i have a problem , today i was cleaning out my turtle tank and saw about 50 little red worms in the filter and on the rock, i have never seen them before. I am wondering what exactly they are, if they are harmful to my turtles, and how to get rid of them. i would definitly appreciate and advice or information
