Ok this is kinda scientific so bare with me: When turtles let out farts it sounds like BrrrBrrrBrrrr...... When tortoises let out farts it sounds like BBBBBbbbbbrrrrrrrBBBBBBbbbbbbrrrrr...... I know its kinda hard for non-professionals to understand this but with a couple of decades of experinece you can tell rather easily. Just remember this key point, "its all in the sound of the fart"!
