Passports |

Under new EU legislation all horses and ponies in the UK require an individual ‘passport’. The legislation came into effect in November 2003 and all horse owners should have obtained a passport by 30th June 2004. The system is being managed by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). However, the passports are issued by Equine Organisations authorised by DEFRA. |
