Varsouvienne - (Varsity) 1985 Flea Bitten Grey/White Thoroughbred Mare registered with the Jockey Club. I owned Varsity for about 13 yrs., (since she was 3) until I started college and didn't have time to spend with her so I gave her away in 2000. Last I heard ... the new owner is a little girl that wanted to jump. I felt pretty good about that since I had been that same little girl wanting to jump when I had found Varsity. I often wonder how she is doing now that she is getting into her senior years. Varsity has a tattoo under lip from very short racing career. Strong personality tended to be mare-ish but excellent "let you do anything" ground manners.
