Welcome to Agility Bits. The dog agility site that has something for everyone.  I hope you have fun browsing.  If you want to have a go at making your own equipment there's several pages on how I've done it for next to nothing or see more equipment below.  There's also an agility fun section which includes how to teach the dogwalk using planks and a cat.  There's plenty of information for beginners in the classes and shows section, but even if you're not an agility person why not just enjoy browsing the site for all the other doggie articles.
Just a final note.  Virtually all of the training on these pages and on the website relates to my dogs and the way I train them.  Unfortunately I can't advise on behavioural problems.  If you are having trouble with your dog your best course is to contact a local trainer who can be there to help you.
Have fun and happy jumping.

More Equipment - Here's an interesting auction currently on ebay.

Don't forget, if this isn't quite what you're looking for agility equipment can be found in the Doggie shop.

Shave my yeti
Silly but fun.

On the go At last, Tyson the skateboarding bulldog has his own website.  If you've never seen Tyson in action before you really must see his website.  Prepare to be amazed.

If you enjoyed watching Tyson why not try a computer game? So far we have Maxim's Seaside Adventure and Maxim's Day Out  (These only seem to work in Internet Explorer.)

Updates

Lose weight with Agility Bits
A lot of us get fat as we get older.  Here's how I've managed to lose some weight so that I can keep up with Sasha.

A tyre jump that conforms to the new regs
We had to find something that would conform to the new Kennel Club regulations on the tyre jump.  Here's how I made our new jump.

Kennel Club Agility Regulation Changes
The tyre is changing and progression to the next grade will be quicker.

Web TV show with Peter Neville
See a recording of the live TV show plus a chance to make you pet famous.

Martin Clunes - A dog's life.
This is an excellent book that gives a fascinating insight into the world of dog behaviour and into the origins of dogs. Here's my review.

Easy Garden Jump
This is probably going to be the easiest garden jump you'll ever make.  The good news is you don't need any carpentry skills.

Most Popular Dogs Names 2008
A new survey is underway to find out the most popular dogs' names in 2008. We've had a total of 1148 names sent in so far and I'll give you three guesses as to which names are in the lead.  Can you spare a minute to help with the survey?

Wait At The Start Challenge
Here's some fun for the new season.  It's the Wait at the Start Challenge for creepy crawly dogs that can't sit still in front of a line of jumps.
If you want to join in and you complete the challenge you can print off a certificate and join the Hall of Fame.

If some of the pages on the site look different it's because I'm doing a make over with a different menu and a slightly different look.  It's going to take ages so please bear with me and hope that I don't change my mind and put it all back again.
