Berrima Horse Trials
Spring One Day Event will be held on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23
November 2008 at “Araluen”. Entries
closed on Monday 3rd November 2008 and all classes are full.

Weather update: Berrima has had minimal
rain this week. Scattered showers predicted for the weekend – and windy!
And well done to Chris, Lauren and
Shane – a clean sweep of winners for NSW and NSWIS in Adelaide!

The Animal Company Winter One Day Event was held on 5th & 6th
July 2008. A brilliant day was had by all – the
ambulance did not move, and the vet and horse ambulance moved just once to
assist a horse with a slightly sore leg off the course. Click here to view

The Berrima Horsetrials Famous Cross Country Clinic and
Competition was held on Sunday 18th May 2008. Our instructors included Peter Gillis, Chris
Burton, Judy Fasher, Jade Findlay,
Hamish Cargill, & Alex Townsend. Despite all BOM predictions, it stayed
dry and sunny though cool and windy. Well done to winner Nikita Misner
who rode Aconiza just 6 seconds over the Optimum Time. To see everyone’s

The Briars Autumn One Day Event on March 8th
& 9th 2008 was a great success – the first all
zones event since EI arrived last August.
The cross country riding was awesome, the course challenging
and some good jumping on John Vallance’s Jumping courses. And the new
Berrima “shed” – what a wonderful construction and an asset to the sport.
Thank you to john and Kathy Roche for supporting (and driving) the
construction of this useful building.
