Cara’s Marshal Law von Beck (Wyatt) WD2 was High in Trial at the first AKC DPCTZ WDS trial with a 97E in tracking,
a 92SG in obedience and an 89G in protection.

 

 

 


Lyric

Cara's Lyric von Talon (Lyric) SchH3, OB1, OB3, TR1, TR3, AD, WH, RH1, CGC earned her SchH3 with a 95 in tracking, a 95 in obedience and an 84 pronounced in protection for a "Very Good" score of 274. The trial tookplace at the Rottweiler Club of Connecticut. Gunther Mullegger was the SV judge.

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS to Cara’s Move Over, Here I Come (Tank) on gaining two legs towards his UDC-CD at the UDC Nationals this year. The second day he tied for High in Trial. Tank also has 1 leg towards his AKC-CD. Last year he earned enough points towards his UKC championship and only needs one weekend to finish. He is AKC conformation pointed and won the bred-by class a the Nationals in 2005.

CONGRATULATIONS to Irinland Ingeborge Isida’Cara (Isis) (Russia)for earning her second Rally Novice leg on July 18, 2008, with a 1st place at the Putnam Kennel Club under Judge Carol Ann Klein.
 On July 20, 2008 Isis finished her RN title with a 1st place at Hudson River Valley Hound Association Trial under Judge Pat Scully.

October 2007

Cara's Lyric von Talon (Lyric) SchH3, OB1, OB3, TR1, TR3, AD, WH, RH1, CGC earned her RH1 (Rettungshundtauglichkeitspruefung) search and rescue title at the O.G. Boston Schutzhund Club's fall trial under SV judge Reinhold Walter. She received  96 points out of 100 points for her search for the victim and 96 points out of 100 points for her obedience and obstacle jumping. She had the highest RH score at the trial. Lyric now has earned a Schutzhund 2, OB1, OB3, TR1,TR3, AD, WH, RH1 and a CGC.

John Soares joins Cara! John Soares is now offering specialized Doberman schutzhund training at Cara. Classes, private training, and boarding/training are offered. Classes are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. For more information or to sign up, please contact John at 973-715-0212.

IMPORTANT. Cara is compiling a comprehensive list of genetic health testing, cause of death, and age at death for all Cara Dobermans. If you own a Cara doberman please email us at caradobe@aol.com with the subject line HEALTH TESTING. In the email, indicate the following:

  1. Complete registered name of dog
  2. Sire and dam names
  3. Date of birth
  4. Genetic health tests completed including dates: vWD, CERF, OFA hips, OFA elbows, thyroid, cardiac ultrasound/EKG
  5. Cause of death (if applicable). Include if it is verifiable (i.e., confirmed by necropsy) or a "best guess."
