Welcome. Casey Catahoulas is located just off the banks of the Tchefuncte River in beautiful and historic Madisonville, Louisiana.
We are Certified Breeders of the National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas (NALC) as well as members of the American Catahoula Association(ACA) and of the Great Southern Kennel Club, a multi breed club of the United Kennel Club(UKC). Owned and operated by Jim and Janet Casey, we are a small kennel putting much time and effort into each and every litter we produce. Casey Catahoulas focuses on quality rather than quantity. For this reason we only produce 1 or 2 litters a year. We work hard to preserve the working heritage of the Catahoula without forgetting form. We breed for the "Total Dog".
Our highly competitive nature drives us to be very critical of our dogs and has led us to obtain only dogs that meet or exceed our high expectations. We realize that there is no such thing as the perfect dog, but Casey Catahoulas endeavors to only own and produce the best Catahoulas possible. Through Show and Field Trials, our dogs have proven, time and again, to be among the best in breed exclusive, as well as, multibreed venues. Our dogs have earned multi Championships in most organizations that recognize the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog. In addition, we have had our Catahoulas ranked in the Top Ten in UKC two years in a row.
We take pride in our dogs acomplishments and will continue to work hard to achieve higher standards. We will continue to preserve the Catahoula's working heritage while being mindful of the total dog.
