Please support us by making a donation.

In 2008 we took in many hundreds of dogs that have been abused, neglected or simply no longer wanted by the families they were so trusting of and willing to please. Without your donations we are unable to provide vital care to these beautiful dogs.

All donations are in Australian Dollars. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. Donations are not refundable.

The Dogs' Refuge Home (W.A.) Inc., is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of dogs. The Home was established in 1935 and is one of the oldest animal welfare agencies in Australia. Our activities are motivated by the fundamental understanding that dogs are entitled to the same love and respect that they unconditionally give to us.

Based at 30 Lemnos Street, Shenton Park, Perth (WA) our kennels are capable of housing up to 150 dogs, dog re-homing being at the heart of our operations. We employ a no-kill policy which ensures that no dog will be euthanised on economic grounds.

We offer a range of services, such as dog boarding and obedience training classes. The details of these and other services can be accessed by clicking the "Services" link on the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

We also encourage responsible dog ownership via a range of education and community projects.
