Meet Xena, our most valuable employee. She is now four years old and is well bonded to the herd. She spends all of her time either sleeping among the Alpacas or out on patrol. She is an Akbash, a Turkish Livestock Guardian Dog known for their loyalty, courage and ability to think independently. She and her two pups will tighten security here at the farm, insuring that no predators enter the pastures to threaten the Alpacas. Xena has turned into an outstanding addition to the farm.
