Short Courses

Our short courses are very flexible and can be designed around your own requirements. To simplify things we have designed 2 packages but you are welcome to add more days, stay more nights, have a day off to explore mid week, etc.

All our courses are private to allow you to get the most from your lessons and the maximum amount of practical driving time, however we can take up to three people at a time. When there are more of you, driving time will have to be shared although the person not driving will be present as a passenger so can still enjoy the experience and learn from each other.

Non drivers are welcome and can travel as a passenger or sometimes meet us for lunch.

A passenger joins in with all the accommodation and all meals, they get to enjoy the forest drives but they don't get to drive themselves. This is ideal for the non horsey partners to enjoy the experience with you.

Non driver shares the bed and breakfast and evening meals, but takes no part in the days driving, they are free to enjoy everything Radnorshire has to offer etc. whilst we are driving in the forest,

We are located six miles west of Presteigne, a Welsh border town formally the county town of Radnorshire. Radnor, the central district of Powys, gets it name from the Anglo-Saxon 'radenore' meaning 'land of hill tracks'. You have to cross Offa's Dyke to reach Cascob from Presteigne.

Cascob church was built on the remains of a mound of a former church burnt down by Owain Glyndwr in 1400. The present church has a half timbered tower and inside is a copy of a  charm of about 1700 that was found in the church. The charm is an incantation making much of the word Abracadabra. Dragon Driving is located on the edge of Radnor Forest at 1000 feet. The forest and hills around us, rise up to 2000 feet at the top of the Black mixen. There are spectacular views over Herefordshire, Shorpshire and into Wales throughout the forest.

We look forward to meeting you and your family in the not too distant future.
