FEI Tests

  • NOTE: All FEI sanctioned competitions (CDI, CDI-W etc.) must purchase the FEI tests with NCR paper (each test has a duplicate copy attached).
  • Only Equine Canada national competitions may use the FEI tests without the duplicate copy

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*
Effective for 2003, all schooling shows wishing to use the new Equine Canada tests must be Provincial Permit competitions. This includes Pony Club and in-house schooling shows. Due to a legal agreement between Equine Canada and USA Equestrian, this rule will be strictly enforced.

Annual Levy Fee for Competitions
Equine Canada made a proviso concerning Equine Canada competitions downloading the tests. It is permitted, but they will still be charged the annual levy fee based on their entry numbers. Individuals now have the option to download the Equine Canada tests for free, or purchase through the PSO or Equine Canada offices.

Ring Sizes
All 2003 EC tests are written for the 20 x 60 meter
arena.
Exception: Training tests 1, 2, 3 & 4 and First level 1 and First level (modified) 2, 3 & 4, may be ridden in a 20 x 40 meter arena at Primary competitions only.
Primary competitions have the option to use a 20 x 40 meter or 20 x 60 meter arena for Training and First Levels only. Refer to Article 2.2.B in the
2003 Rules Addendum

Test File Format
All test files are formatted to be printed on 8"x14" legal paper.
All test files are in  Adobe Acrobat format.  If you do not have Acrobat installed on your machine, you will not be able to view these tests properly

FEIFEI Changes Scoring in FEI Freestyle Tests
The FEI has released new dressage freestyle tests for the FEI levels which reflects changes in the scoring for the technical execution and artistic presentation. Copies of these revised tests are denoted here as
