Australian Shepherds are governed by a very strong desire to 'please' their masters, families, "you". :-) They possess a very strong herding drive. This makes them a candidate for families, individuals that can accomodate this drive and appreciate their unique abilities. They can be very laid back, but also "rise" to the most challenging of jobs and games.
