At the Membership meeting at Round Up these suggestions were brought before the members and voted on the results were as follows:

1.  $5.00 non-member fee for each barrel race     Did not pass

          2.  Saddle and Buckle Series limited to members only Did not pass

3.  Leave Novice class as is:  $500 Super Novice Horse. The 500 Novice Class will have two yearend standings. One for the 1-D and one for the 2-D number of places receiving awards will be determined on monies brought in throughout the year by that class

4.  Change Poles to be the same as Novice (one overall horse/rider combination winner for year-end) Did not pass

5.  Change Open 4D Barrels to 6-pont system for members instead of money won Did not pass

6.  Only nominated horse/rider combinations will receive points on the Saddle and Buckle Series Passed

7.  Change 12 and Under to 12 and Under $500 Novice rider Did not pass

8.  Change order of events to remain the same all year Will be determined by the directors and persons putting on the barrel race to benefit the club

9.  Pay a designated announcer Tabled at this time

10.  Awards won in any and/or all classes and divisions to be given to each horse/rider combination. Did not pass

For anyone who is interested I am going to make TMBRA a My Space page. I would like for everyone to send me pictures of them and their horses. I will post the schedule on it and results. It will be free advertisement and maybe help boost our membership. If you can’t e-mail them to me bring them to a barrel race and I’ll scan them and get them back to you. We could even do a horses for sale and maybe even a for stud section but I need pictures to make it look good.

We are in the process of getting the new bylaw book made up. We should have them at the next barrel race.
