Welcome to the beautiful Treasue Valley of Ontario, OR, where we proudly raise ADGA registered Nubians, Lamanchas; and MDGA/IDGA registered Mini-Nubians, Mini-Lamanchas, and Mini-Oberhalsis for milk and show.

The good LORD has blessed us by giving us a fertile, irrigated twenty acres of lush pastures that overlook the entire valley.  Our goats and horses never lack for food and neither do we with the long growing seasons around here for gardening.  Our children are home schooled, but active in town groups and projects, and enjoy a quieter simpler life than most people are lucky enough to experience.  For this we praise the Lord Jesus Christ for all his blessings.

Our farm originally began with the breeding of horses, but my interest in goats and genetics led me to the programs for the new experimental breeds, Miniature Dairy Goats. I luckily met the founder of the first recognized registered experimentals, Ariel Mars whose good advice and lovely stock helped me get my start.  Her herd was the first to reach purebred status in the year 2002 with the IDGA.

I started with a herd of Mini-Nubians and focused on developing the breed to have strong breed character, mid-small size, show quality conformation and udders, plus gentle dispositions for easy handling, and we've had beautiful results.  We are the first herd in the US to have permanent registered stock past the experimental stage in both the MDGA and IDGA.  Our does and bucks are the first in the U.S. to earn bothto Permanent Grand Champion Status and their Production Stars within the MDGA.  We are both happy and surprised with the success of our "Mini" herd, so much so that we've added Mini-Lamanchas and Mini-Obers as well.

Our standard herd started because of our looking for the very best milking and show animals to use in our "Mini" programs.  The Nubian does we were using have been so nice, that we've extended our herd to breeding and showing the ADGA standards as well as our "Mini's". With the stock we're breeding and purchasing, we are very excited about the udders that should be coming this way.

We practice  aggressive CAE and CL herd management and prevention, with yearly testing.  For sales we require a  $50 deposit on all babies with the balance due when picked up.  We live near Boise, so air-transport is available at the buyers exspense as is any papers needed for shipping.  We guarantee our animals as breeding animals that will reproduce and milk.. (see For Sale for more detail).

We hope you take some time and go through our website, and if you are ever in the neighborhood stop in for a visit, the coffee is always on and the door open.

God Bless...Dannette Hackman
