The College of Equine Dentistry Australia is currently working with various equine dental industry representatives in Australia and appropriate National Training Bodies to write and implement a National Training Package for Equine Dentistry. Contrary to what the general public is being informed, there is, at this time, NO nationally accredited Training Package for Equine Dentistry in Australia.
Due to a very strong demand from the horse industry and interested students, the College’s private teaching program continues to run it’s teaching blocks three times each year. At such time as the National Training Package is implemented, each student enrolled in our program and having already completed existing modules, will receive “Recognition of Prior Learning” (RPL’s) for Units of Competency already completed.
Our College continues to strive for National Recognition of appropriately trained and accredited equine dental practitioners throughout Australia and the rest of the world.
Students never cease to show amazement at the standard of education that is offered at the College, and the care and commitment of all persons involved in attending the College, from horse-owners to instructors to students.
