We are a small breeder of Miniature Schnauzers located in Western New York east of Buffalo. We only have a couple of litters each year. We have three females...Annie, Abby and Nicki that we breed. Buddy has been the main sire for our breedings to Annie and Abby but we now have a new boy (Rowdy) for future breedings to puppies that we will keep from Buddy.
Our main goal is to breed happy, healthy pets that bring love and companionship to their human family. All our dogs are AKC registered and we strive to conform to the standards set by the AKC. Although our dogs are AKC registered and come from champion lines, we would rather produce quality pets instead of show dogs as we have no plans of showing any of our dogs. Our dogs are raised in our home, not a kennel. We have a little over a half an acre of fenced in area for them to run around and play in. Puppies are whelped in our bedroom so I can keep a close eye on them. They stay there until they are 4 weeks old after which they are moved to the puppy nursery, a room right next to our bedroom. They are a part of our family which we feel is very important when it comes to raising happy, healthy, loving dogs and puppies. They are shown nothing but gentleness, love and affection from day one. Plenty of hugs and kisses from us. Miniature Schnauzers do not shed. They are very affectionate, extremely intelligent and make wonderful devoted companions for anyone. I have found that miniature schnauzers tend to learn things very quickly especially if little treats are used as a reward. They have a tendency to be very compliant and extremely eager to please when there is attention to be won from the people they love. All our dogs visit the vet on a regular basis, are up to date on vaccinations and are on a once a month tablet (Interceptor) to prevent heartworm disease. Interceptor also removes and controls adult hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.
