Welcome! Our kennel, a proud member of the Swiss Appenzeller Society (SCAS), is located in beautiful northeastern New York on 120 acres. Currently, we share our lives with two Appenzellers: "Blackstar Sophie" (Sophie),
AAD / EJC / EGC / EAC and "Fiola vom Buchenstock" (Bella), AD / NJC / NGC / OAC / JHD. Although not official working farm dogs, our Appenzellers are active, busy dogs, excelling in both agility and herding. In fact, Sophie and Bella were the first two Appenzellers in North America to receive multiple agility championship titles. Bella and a puppy from her first litter were the first two Appenzellers in North America to obtain herding titles.We sincerely believe breeding any breed of dog is an enormous responsibility, not to be done casually or taken lightly, especially so for a breed like Appenzellers (a high drive, high energy herding breed). We screen potential homes very carefully in order to ensure that both puppy and its new family have a happy life together.
