 Whether you are on your way back to school, a parent sending a child on their way, or just looking back on YOUR first days of school, it is important to remember to treat life as a giant learning opportunity.
The founding members of hedgehogworld.com felt that it was important to have a friendly site that makes it easier to promote education of proper hedgehog care and ownership to those all around us. Building this site, and gathering the information that we provide has helped us realize that the learning NEVER stops.
Whether you are just discovering an interest in hedgehogs or have owned hedgehogs for more of your life than you are willing to admit, these fascinating little creatures always have something new to teach us.
Our staff and members here at hedgehogworld.com are devoted to providing information and discussing topics that helps each and every one of us grow a little bit every day through our fascination with hedgehogs. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible with a friendly, openminded approach to knowledge, without seeking to belittle or blame those who are just beginning their slide into hedgehog addiction.

Hedgehogs have been a figure displayed in various forms of literature and media for thousands of years. Some accounts are close to realistic, some are quite comedic and exaggerated.

We reached way back into our archives and pulled out an oldie but goodie....
Everything I need to know in life, I learned from a hedgehog
Today I was taking pictures of one of my elderly hedgehogs (Puck, who is a bit past 4 1/2) and my daughter (Persephone, age 2), and it made me start thinking of just how much I have learned from my prickly buddies, and all that they have to teach my human children.
