Hexham & Northern Marts continue to market more
Prime Sheep than any of the competition in the North East
With more fed lambs forward killing out percentages are improving, however
one or two over fat lambs are appearing.
The inevitable issue of belly clipping has risen its
head and those producers presenting dry clean and or belly clipped sheep
are being paid for their efforts.
Please continue to enter your sheep and cattle for
our Primestock Sales, we want to make the most of your stock and giving
accurate numbers to buyers the night before the sale helps us achieve
this

supermarket and export outlets on a deadweight basis.
