By breeding two unrelated types of dogs, the first generation offspring puppies are referred to as hybrids. Hybrid puppies are healthier and are superior to either purebred of the parent dogs. This is referred to as "hybrid vigor." These dogs will live longer and display fewer health problems.  The golden retriever and the poodle share some wonderful traits and the Goldendoodle puppies pick up the best from both breeds. 

 **PLEASE be aware when adopting a Goldendoodle puppy ask a lot of questions.  Whether or not you adopt one of our  babies you should ask any breeder.

If you can come and visit, even if you are unable to see if they are willing to let you come ,if the parents are AKC registered, what testing on the adults has been done, poodles require a lot more tests than goldens.
