The 2008 IDDHA Canine Disc World Championships Presented by Invisible Fence Brand by PetSafe was held September 13 and 14 at Purina Farms, the premier educational and entertainment pet facility located on 400 acres outside St. Louis, Missouri.  In addition to the standard Championship format of Freestyle, Single Disc and Distance, we premiered the exciting new speed event, Double Shot. 

Congratulations to the World Champions in each division, most importantly, our new IDDHA World Champion Darron Barrus who won the coveted Overall division with his female border collie The Moo! See complete results.

We'd like to congratulate John Casey on his new position as the dog trainer at Purina Farms' Pet Pavillion.  We're proud to announce that John will be presiding as a judge at this year's IDDHA World Championships.  We are also excited to welcome Sandy Casey, the 2008 IDDHA
Championship Event Coordinator.  You can email Sandy with any questions.

This should be a great competitive disc dog season.  We're thrilled to be holding the Championships in a centralized location with such vast facilities.  It will also be great to have the event at the end of the season as it should be.  We look forward to seeing all the spectacular teams from across the country competing at this year's event, including 2007 Overall Champions Tracy Custer and Raccoon Jack.
