Come join the fun at the Ingleside Farm Summer Day Camp. We offer 2 sessions of camp. You will learn about basic horse care, along with riding instruction for beginners thru advanced riders. There will be classroom activities, with daily quizzes and prizes for the best studiers!! You will need to wear your riding clothes in the morning when you arrive, which consist of long pants (preferably riding pants), hard soled shoes and tucked in shirts. Bring with you a change of clothes such as jeans or shorts, along with a bathing suit, towel and sandals. We will be swimming every afternoon after riding, then going back to the barn to feed the horses.

The first camp is June 16-20, 2008, from 10-4. This is for all riders. We strongly recommend two-four lessons before camp so you know about our horses. We will work on the basics, along with some patterns and advanced work.

The second session is June 30-July 3, 2008, from 10-4. This camp will only be 4 days and the cost is $320.  You will receive a discount of 10% if you attended the first session!

The third session is July 28-August 1, 2008, from 10-4. You will receive a discount of 10% if you attended another session.

This year for the first time we are offering an Advanced Camp.  August 11-15.  This is for show riders and advanced academy riders.  We will work on patterns, strength training and more intense riding.  Overnighters welcome.  We will have nighttime activities also.  Cost is $400 for day campers and $500 for overnighters for 4 nights.

We will be having a horse show at the farm sometime in August for all of the campers and anyone else who rides at the farm. We will have a cookout that day and all parents and friends are invited.

The cost for the camps is $400. Snacks are provided, but everyone must bring a bag lunch. On Friday of each session we will be having a cookout, so no lunch needs to be brought that day.

Please fill out the registration form and a release form. Include a non-refundable deposit check of $75 and mail to Sara Scheck c/o Ingleside Farm. The balance is due the first day of camp.  Spaces will be limited, and students will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
