More dogs are alive because Anne Dubé stopped dancing. And that’s a good thing – or at least Dubé and I think so. We are dog lovers. She has three of them; I’m down to one after my daughter decamped with her basset hound. There are two kinds of... read more...

Hi, I'm Oscar, and I was rescued from a puppy mill a few weeks ago.
I am sure you heard it in the news. From what hear people saying, everyone is talking about it.
The SPCA took me and more than 100 other dogs out of there

I never knew things were so bad where I was before. I was in a small cage with other dogs. We never got to leave, and we peed and pooed in there. There were cages from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. There were also plastic bins with dogs in there. There was food, but we had to be fast, or one of the other dogs would eat it. There was hardly any water. So much has gone on since it is hard to remember everything. Once at the SPCA I was bathed and shaved, my filthy, matted fur gone forever. After a while, someone from Rosie came to get me and brought me to be checked at the vet. I stayed there overnight and was neutered the next day, so I can never be used again to breed. I am now being fostered by Maria, a Vet Tech.

Great ideas like this and generosity from the heart allow Rosie to continue bringing joy to lives,
both canine and human!

When you adopt from Rosie, your dog will be vet checked, vaccinated for DHPP and Rabies (if the dog is over 4 months), given a treatment for fleas and parasites as well as spayed or neutered BEFORE adoption. Our adoption fee is $300.00. There are no paid employees at Rosie's - it is run 100% by volunteers

Are you able to make a donation?
Donations allow us to continue to rescue, pay for medical care, and place great dogs into loving homes.

All the dogs on this site needed foster homes. That is, temporary housing or shelters until permanent homes can be located. Everyday we receive many new pleas for help and dogs in need. Play an important role in the placement/adoption process.

Roise Animal Adoption is a registered non profit organisation and will issue income tax receipts for any donation over $20.00
